I have the same problem I thought my cat peed in them and I washed them, No better. I took the cushion out and it almost looks like mold is/was growing. I left in the sun, sprayed w/ shoe deodorant spray- still stink, trying baking soda now. I do like the shoes but don’t think I’d spend the money to buy another pair now.

I did spend the $110 and now I can’t wear the shoes!!! This was my first pair of Sketchers and now my last. I seriously thought my cat had peed in my shoe, but after speaking to my friend (my catless friend) I discovered she had the same problem… STINKY SHOES.

I’ve had the same smelly problem and will never buy another pair of Sketchers. I love the shoes but cannot stand the putrid smell.

Oh My Gosh!!! You have my deepest sympathy! I too, and 2 of my friends, have been infected with the Sketcher smelly foot disease. The only cure I have found is to avoid the shoes altogether. I have also had this problem with Teva’s and being an open sandal, had no choice but to throw them out. I was considering buying a pair of the new Shape Ups, but, at $110.00, I’m terrified that they will have the same problem and you don’t know it until you start gagging and your eyes start burning and tearing! Has anyone tried contacting Sketchers customer service????

Being my brother I have known the creator of this website for years, and if there is one thing I can clarify it’s that my brother has always had brown underpants his whole life!!!…. from the time when he was s—-ing mustard during his baby/childhood years too right now…..this date and time. My brother being the elder by seven years I can safely say that I have never seen grown men wait till the last possible moment to address natures duties but at some point in life you would think he would drop everything he was doing and sacrifice to porcelin god and avoid brown underpants!!!!

I wish him all the best and remember you can DEPENDS on yourself!!!

Good luck with your brown underpants and remember you can always bleach them white again.

If you find out how to stop making them smell let me know please..I love the shoes but God I hate the smell and I have tried about everything to stop it.

I truly enjoyed the fervor and the exceitement caused by Apple last as they announced the the iPhone / iPod touch OS 3.0 upgrade . It brings some long awaited upgrades and changes that truly make the device fantabulous.

While I am midly amused and slightly miffed at the discovery of the touch’s BlueTooth disabled nature and the required $10 fee to activate the functionality, I am more than pleased with the ability to make VoiP calls from the device now (or at least shortly).

With tons of new APIs, functionality and features, I can’t wait until the release. Its gonna keep making Apple and it’s toys a game changer, after the disappointing release of the only current viable competitor, the BlackBerry Storm. The Palm Pre had a great lead up to generate exceitement, but the delay in the time to market has allowed Apple to build up the feature set in the iPhone OS to regain the coveted must have status.

The only downsides I can really see for Apple and my current desire for an iPhone are the time to market, a few more months before I will consider committing to the device. The other real downside is not Apple’s fault as it deals with the rapacious data rates charged by Rogers and the outlandish roaming fees charged by other carriers while traveling internationally.
